These temperatures are without all the black-box corrections made by climate scientists - just straight out is the temperature going up or down. Check out the map of California. Skeptics often argue that some of the global warming we measure may actually just be the urban heating effect from asphalt and concrete and buildings and machinery impinging on measurement sites.
