The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.
Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.
What Obama most needed in the IRS ACA office was someone willing to ignore the clear language of the PPACA legislation and ram through IRS tax subsidies for insurance policies in the Federal (vs. state) exchanges -- subsidies that were purposefully and explicitly denied in the plain language of the law.

Yep, and if you think that the "resignations" of two top level IRS officials and a pending "investigation" into further malfeasance will clear the IRS from future violent manipulation of Obamascare provisions, you're in for a very, very ugly surprise.
People have no idea how bad Obamascare is going to get.

We have partisan intellectuals and activists moving into important bureaucratic posts every day. Most of them are incapable of suspending their frenzied ideological ideals in performing their functions. Like Obama, they want to transform America, but into what? Progressives have undermined our institutions incrementally since the 1960's but under Obama the process has intensified. They have to get 'er dun NOW while the iron is hot! To think this Chicago-based, Alinsky following elite didn't know and didn't participate is absurd. They are amoral political operatives who will do ANYTHING to advance their ideas and care not of the pain they render to flesh and blood people.

Ms Ingram is a good soldier and worthy of advancement. She knows what Obama wants without being told and she is very willing to do it. There are hundreds of Ms Ingrams planted in the bureaucracy we lovingly call the Federal government. The reason they are there is because they want the same thing Obama wants and they'll go after it without direction. There won't be a path back to Obama on this IRS issue. Fish rot from the head.
