The Oxford Comma.

To answer Drum's question, I think the problem may be the name.  "Oxford comma" sounds stuffy and pretentious and 19th century.  Maybe we can call it the Kardashian comma or something.

The best universities are Stanford, MIT, and Washington and Lee. Case made, I'd say.

A well regulated Grammar, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Commas, shall not be infringed.

What about two spaces after a period?

Not to mention the right to insert superfluous commas (which the Oxford comma is not, but the parodied sentence in the Second Amendment has two that don't belong, and one of them once caused a serious misinterpretation).

The way to render that in HTML is to insert " " after the period.  Like this!
