Worst Music Video Ever

It has been a while since I have posted this, but I am still convinced this is the worst music video ever made.  The only competitor I can think of is if you classified the movie "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" as a music video.  Enjoy (or not):

Seriously, this is wrong is so many ways.

I don't know. Pretty girls and a beat...

This one is better quality (so to speak): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC73PHdQX04

And here's the uncut version, though black & white: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPh12Q7cpeE

That is very interesting in a 'ew' way.

I'd cut Nimoy some slack - it could not have been easy after Star Trek was canceled. He's stereotyped, Star Trek cons have not gotten started, no residuals from re-runs. A bit of coin for singing probably seemed like a pretty good deal.

    thank you so much :)

The clip is awfully bad, but this is the exact way most of the TV music video clips were made across the Iron Courtain up to 1990. Suffering from chronic Ostalgie, for me this was an unexpected and ... surprisingly pleasant dive in the past.

    Oh. My. God.

    I was NOT expecting that.

I agree, as noted above, that the girls were pretty -- a factor not to be ignored.

Could this by any chance have been a put-on? It's tough to be that bad by accident.

Not only is this not the worse music video in the world, it isn't the worse music video by a former Star Trek star. This one is.

As a connoisseur of bad music videos, I can appreciate Mr. Nimoy's exceptional work in this video.

However, since this was filmed for a television show that clearly had a budget of $.13, it may not be completely fair to criticize. Instead, I would nominate these two videos which use genuine bands, hit songs (at the time) and a real budget to produce disturbing results.
