From LiveEarth: (emphasis added)
[I]t was nonmusicians at this concert who made
the most passionate pleas about demanding action for the environment.
"Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington,
who are nothing more than corporate toadies," said Robert F. Kennedy
Jr., the environmentalist author, president of Waterkeeper Alliance and
Robert F. Kennedy's son, who grew hoarse from shouting. "This is
treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors."
For those tired of the climate bent of late, I apologize. I have mostly finished my book project, and once I get all the comments integrated (thanks again everyone) and publish the 1.1 version, I will be off climate for a while. In fact, in addition to my job thing, I have completed the outline and have the first several chapters written of a young adult book I would like to finish.
Allen:
"This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors."???? Not even I've found a way to burn out that many brain cells drinking / whatever to utter such a thing no matter how much it bothers me. Then again, part of my problem may be assuming that a trust fund baby would know what constitutes "treason".
