One of my favorite early C64 games may be returning to mobile platforms. M.U.L.E. would work great as a networked iPhone game. Hopefully these folks do a good job with it.

The "mules" that John and the Dogs use as they hike around the moon in my novel are inspired by / named for this.
My Dad and I spent many hours playing M.U.L.E. as a child on my C64. I don't have any Apple devices right now, but will buy one if I can play again with Dad! (And bring the joys of M.U.L.E. to my kids, too!)
Jesus, there goes my productivity for 6 months or so.
