Because Shut Up

Via the Hill

Former vice president Al Gore on Monday called for making climate change "denial" a taboo in society.

“Within the market system we have to put a price on carbon, and within the political system, we have to put a price on denial,” Gore said at the Social Good Summit New York City.

Incredibly, the suggestion of introducing taboos and penalties in a scientific debate is coming from the side that claims to be the great defenders of science.

A taboo (tə'buː, tæ'buː) is a vehement prohibition of an action based on the belief that such behavior is either too sacred or too accursed for ordinary individuals to undertake, under threat of supernatural punishment.

It is time for the ACLU to give Al Gore a refresher on the First Amendment.

Al's gone all Joe McCarthy on us.

  4. Ron H.:

That would be a complete waste of time. Gore doesn't fail to understand the 1st amendment, he just doesn't like it.

    Seriously, that's insulting.....

    To Joe McCarthy.

    :-D

It's time for Gore to be dragged into the street and beaten.

Gore is still heavily invested in carbon credit companies. His plan was to rake in millions when the stock went up after the carbon credit laws were passed. He never sold his stock because too many were watching after he denied this was his plan and the laws didn't pass. He's stuck holding worthless paper and keeps trying to get people interested in carbon credits to try and recover some of his money.

Popular Science will no longer accept comments on their articles and climate skeptics are a primary reason...

You are right on the money. Al is not alone, there are a lot of Chicago area mobsters, I mean investors waiting for this scheme, I mean investment to pan out. I may seem cliche, but follow the money applies to global warming.
