Laughable. Just goes to show that when people says my city's a shithole, they don't know what they're talking about. I mean, how bad IS Detroit if they can't film an ad ABOUT Detroit IN Detroit?

  2. Matt:

One who has never been to Detroit might consider that. One familiar with Detroit will know that importing the quantity of valuable equipment necessary to shoot a Superbowl commercial into Detroit would be a very, very foolish thing to do. Assuming one dislikes being stolen from, anyway.

I smell an insurance company involved here. They probably couldn't get coverage if they filmed in Detroit.

Hey, the cars aren't made in Detroit so why should the commercial be made there? At least they are consistent. Probably should have shot it in Italy, at Fiat's HQ.
