Julius Shulman

Julius Shulman, creator of perhaps my single favorite urban photo, has died at the age of 98.  I like the black and white version linked above better than the color, which I confess I had never seen before.

    They are actually different photos; just taken from the same angle.

    It's not the same photo! The human subjects (admittedly easily missed) are not the same.

    Thanks to California energy laws Title 24 you'll never see another house built like the this. If cap and trade goes through the whole country can enjoy Title 24.
