Today in my inbox I got a letter from "Governor Mark Sanford" with a pitch to join the Goldwater Institute (a conservative / free market think tank here in Arizona). Oops.
Wow... he screwed a whole group of people on that trip! Them's some pretty impressive skills.
To be fair, if the think tank is focused on economics, his recent experiences aren't likely to invalidate his appeal (except, of course, on the emotional level). It would have been even worse if he had been pushing something about strengthening the family....or recommending travel as a career enhancing experience for the airlines.
