CO2 Leads to Prostitution

You may have noticed that I have not blogged a lot on climate of late.  This is mainly because nothing substantial has really changed in four years or so.  The skeptic argument has not changed and really has not been refuted.  In fact, published estimates for climate sensivity continue to move down towards my estimates.

But I could not resist linking to this

Several House Democrats are calling on Congress to recognize that climate change is hurting women more than men, and could even drive poor women to "transactional sex" for survival.

The poor economy (caused primarily by Democrats) is also driving women to transactional sex with (democrat) politicians.

This brings to mind the mock headline usually attributed to the New York Times: "World to End Tomorrow, Women and Minorities Hardest Hit."

Why will it not turn men to "transactional sex" for survival? Do men not get this option? How sexist!

Well, If you can't get Americans to have a regular panic, try a moral panic...

I just read an article today about the horrors of human trafficking Folks being brought in from Mexico, or kidnapped from elsewhere for prostitution. To end all of that, we should just legalize it in the first place, then CO2 be damned. As for folks in poor countries doing this. As far as I have heard - crop yields have actually increased over the last 40 or so years due to CO2 - and much of the reason farmers aren't getting rich is due to price controls and import restrictions from 1st world countries trying to "protect" their own farmers.

Gee, and I thought the whoring in the ManBearPig fiasco was safely confined to the political-scientific community. It's more dangerous than we thought!!!

I myself have long taken notice of the strong link between climate change and the female's ultimate reliance upon sex for her survival.

Here in Minnesota, when the snow starts blowing through the woods and the dogs start freezing to the back deck if they lie down for too long, the usual relative difference in mass between men and women results in the man's body retaining heat for a longer time than the woman's body retains it.

Thus, a heat-challenged woman in bed next to a heat-sufficient man has a self-serving incentive to lie close to the man, and to cuddle with him.

A sexual encounter has been known to occur in such situations.

Such gender-based exploitation must be stopped.
