Today will be remembered in history as the day that had no Republican candidate debate.

    and there was much rejoicing

  2. Evil Red Scandi:

    Damn. I may have to pay to watch idiotic demagoguery.

  3. bcm:

    It is quite amazing, really.

  4. Mark:

    Well here in San Diego they had the Mayoral debate, scheduled during drive time 5pm, and only available on streaming internet video! That makes up for it.

    I never watch the debates. It is easy enough to find out what happened and who had good points and bad, the next day reading various articles rather than waste 2 hours of my life some 16x over.

    Even the They-Thirst-for-Death Republicans realize that on the eve of Tebow's Day people need to prepare for the crushing of the Patriots.

  6. Mary:

    Pats win, but not in a landslide. Then the Timmy circus goes away for a few months.

    Plus, we have the SC GOP debate in 5 days to look forward to. Different beasts, but another circus just the same.

  7. Mark:

    @Mary,

    I wonder what insight will come out of the next debate that did not come out in the first 16.

  8. Larry Sheldon:

    Beggin' yer pardon, sir. There have been a lot of days where there was no self-respecting debate.

    What is remarkable about today is that there were no flea circuses billed as debates.

    I know not what it will be, but I do predict that it will not be:
    "Why the hell are we watching this?"
    for the 17th consecutive opportunity.

  10. Mary:

    Jon Huntsman's bowing out. One of the more reasonable minds leaving the circus. Who will pick up his 2.7 minute allotment of face time in Thursday debate? :)

  11. Mark:

    @Mary

    Maybe Gary Johnson will come back!
